Safety in Sync: How IACLEA and uSafeUS® Are Advancing Campus Safety

We’ve got some exciting news—uSafeUS® has partnered with the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA)—a powerful step toward safer, more connected campus communities.

So, why does this partnership matter? And why is uSafeUS the perfect match for the leading voice in campus safety? Let’s dive in.

Our shared commitment to campus security and student safety makes this partnership feel like a natural next step. uSafeUS is not just another safety app with a few basic tips. Instead, the app takes a holistic approach to safety and wellness that brings together students, faculty, staff, campus public safety, local law enforcement, and community partners.

We believe students should be empowered to take an active role in their own wellbeing—all while having easy access to trusted resources. That’s where the uSafeUS app comes in. The app serves as a single, trusted source for critical information—no more scrolling through websites or waiting for an email back. It’s all there, right when students need it.

Whether it’s leaving a risky situation or getting home safely at night, uSafeUS features are built for real-life challenges. Interactive tools like Time to Leave™ and Angel Drink provide discreet ways to exit uncomfortable situations before things escalate.

But the app isn’t limited to individual benefits. uSafeUS tools also support the work of campus safety teams. Expect Me™ lets students temporarily share their location with trusted contacts. If they don’t arrive to their destination on time, the app securely stores their last known location for 96 hours—critical information in the case of a missing person.

Together, uSafeUS and IACLEA are building a stronger campus safety network—rooted in partnership, powered by community, and focused on protecting every student.

Still not convinced? Hear it from Chief Paul Dean, past president of IACLEA:

“uSafeUS puts critical resources into the hands of students, connecting them quickly and easily to the tools, contacts, and information they need. It is a game changer in campus safety!”
